Any mother would agree that having a child is one of the most wonderful and terrifying moments in her life. Bringing a baby into the world, a little person she is meant to care for and nurture, the wonder of this new life she now holds in her arms – a symphony of emotion is expressed in the most beautiful ways. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there were a way to record these memories in as grand a fashion as they are born? There is. Carol has given this particular mother a beautiful and timeless keepsake that I daresay will never be more appreciated. Just as a beautiful piece of music is able to stir the heart, so looking through the photographs captured in that life-changing moment is able to move my soul. There are few experiences that can compare with meeting your child for the first time. The explosion of emotion that floods your heart at hearing that first cry is indescribable. As a mother, you can imagine how I wanted to immortalize that time! Today Everlasting Photography has given me a priceless gift with the way those moments are now forever suspended in time through the beautiful photos she captured. She was quiet and respectful during the most intense phases of my labor, yet she still managed to capture the raw emotions of that period with eloquence and precision. After the birth of my baby, she gave us the opportunity to enjoy the feelings of becoming a family for the first time, and somehow still preserved those precious moments for us.
